As the days grow shorter and the air gets colder, it’s time for one of Motor City Riot’s favorite annual traditions. The Zombie Ride returns for another night of mopeds, costumes, city streets, and Halloween fun.
Part mini-rally, part costume ride, and part bar crawl, the Zombie Ride has become one of MCR’s signature events. Whether you’re a longtime member or joining us for your first ride, expect an evening filled with great people, great scooters, and plenty of spooky atmosphere.
What to Expect
- Meet at 5:00 PM at the MCR Club House.
- Ride approximately 25 miles through Detroit at a relaxed 30 mph-ish pace.
- Make several stops along the way for drinks, photos, and good company.
- Return to the clubhouse for an after-party to cap off the night.
Costumes Encouraged
This is Halloween, MCR style. Dress as a zombie, a monster, your favorite horror character, or anything else that fits the season. Decorate your moped if you’re feeling creative. The more undead, the better.
Electric Mopeds Welcome
With a shorter route and a relaxed pace, this is one of the best rides of the year for electric mopeds. Everyone is welcome to join the fun.
Ride Prepared
Please arrive with a reliable bike, a full tank or charged battery, and your helmet. Give your moped a quick once-over before heading out so we can spend the evening riding instead of wrenching.
