MCR Presents: You Probably Won’t Get Murdered 2: Dead Sexy

The rumors are true… Motor City Riot is back with our second annual Detroit moped rally!

Join riders from across the country for an unforgettable weekend of great rides, questionable decisions, fast mopeds, cold drinks, and the kind of stories you’ll be telling for years. From Friday afternoon through Sunday, we’ve packed the weekend with scenic rides, parties, prizes, and plenty of Detroit hospitality.

Whether you rode with us last year or this is your first visit to the Motor City, we’d love to have you along.

Rally Registration

Registration is just $10 and includes:

Rally pack
Saturday meals
Official rally T-shirt
Complimentary beverages
Drink specials at the Saturday night party

Pre-registration was available through the MCR website, but if you missed it, no worries. Registration will also be available in person on Friday and Saturday.

Please note: Registration is required to participate in the official rally rides.

The Raffle

One of the highlights of the weekend returns with an incredible raffle featuring:

A custom-built rigid Motobecane
A V1 Aspes
Tons of additional prizes

Raffle tickets will be available throughout the weekend, with the drawing taking place during Saturday night’s party. Someone is going home with a seriously cool moped.

The Ride

Saturday features our signature long-distance rally ride departing from the Old Nasty Yacht Club (ONYC).

Expect:

Approximately 35 mph cruising speeds
A chase vehicle to pick up anyone who breaks down
A food stop along the route
Plenty of Detroit streets, scenery, and yes… a few legendary potholes

Lodging

Need a place to stay?

Hostel Detroit is offering discounted accommodations for rally attendees and is conveniently located near all of the weekend’s activities.

Room options include:

Shared rooms starting around $35/night
Private rooms starting around $74/night

When booking, let them know you’re attending the Motor City Riot Rally to receive the rally rate.
