Winter is almost over, and it’s time to drag those neglected mopeds out of hibernation.

Motor City Riot and Detroit Moped Works proudly present the 5th Annual Get Your Shit Running for Spring! This weekend is all about wrenching, learning, hanging out, and getting your ride ready for another season on the road.

Whether you’re rebuilding an engine, installing performance parts, chasing an electrical gremlin, or just trying to get your bike to start for the first time in months, we’ll have experienced builders around all weekend to lend a hand. Don’t have a project? Come anyway. There will always be something to learn, someone to help, and plenty of laughs.

Best of all? It’s completely FREE.

If you’re bringing a project, let us know ahead of time what you’re working on. We’ll do our best to make sure the parts you need are available. Nothing kills momentum faster than realizing you’re missing one tiny piece halfway through a repair.

🎉 Saturday Night Party & Raffle

Once the tools are put away Saturday night, it’s time to celebrate.

We’ll be raffling off a beautifully restored and kitted Motomarina Sebring, built by Greg Gokee, along with a pile of awesome prizes from Detroit Moped Works, Dos Cycles, and other generous moped vendors.

Raffle ticket sales online end at 7:00 PM on Friday, February 23.

All proceeds benefit the Old Nasty Yacht Club, helping us continue to host events and support Detroit’s incredible moped community.

Bring yourself, bring your friends, and bring your broken mopeds. Let’s get them running before spring finally rolls into town.
